AVOID These When Booking a Cruise With Kids

Families need an affordable vacation that is fun, safe, a bit of adventure and some relaxation.

Some cruise lines cater more to families with children than others.

There are some things to consider when looking for a family cruise.

Traditionally, three or 4-day-long cruises are considered party ships or “booze cruises.”

This is especially true for ships sailing from Los Angeles to Mexico and from Miami to the Bahamas over weekends.

If you don’t like your family around this kind of atmosphere, choosing a longer cruise is a good idea.

Choosing an older or smaller ship often leaves you with fewer onboard activities for families.

While small ships can create a cozy environment, this is often more appropriate for adults sailing without children.
