Saguaro National Park is home to about 2 million giant cacti.

Saguaros only grow in the Sonoran Desert.

It can take 50 years or more before they sprout an arm.

When you see a giant cactus with multiple arms, you know it is very old.

They can live beyond 150 years.

Saguaros usually reach full height, 40 to 50 feet, around 150 years.

Some exceed 60 feet.

Saguaros often grow near ironwood trees, which provide protection from the desert heat.

Some of the cacti have crazy arms.

Each cactus seems to have its own personality.
