TOP State Park in Ohio: Hocking Hills

Hocking Hills State Park is located in the green, rolling hills of southeast Ohio.

The wonderful state park contains forests, caves, rock formations, cliffs and a treasure trove of waterfalls.

Hocking Hills has 7 amazing hikes that cover all ability levels.

OLD MAN'S CAVE

Old Man’s Cave is a 1.5 mile one-way trail system.

The entire loop takes you through Upper Falls, Upper Gorge, Middle falls, Lower Falls and Lower Gorge.

CEDAR FALLS

The trail to Cedar Falls is only 0.5 mile.

Consider this hike to be moderate due to so many steps and the steep grade.

ASH CAVE

The first half of the trail is level and paved.  It is wheelchair accessible to the cave and waterfall.

CONKLE'S HOLLOW

The gorge is filled with tall trees, leaving you in a shaded canopy full of singing birds.

CANTWELL CLIFFS

Fat Woman’s Squeeze is a set of stone stairs descending through a narrow corridor.

ROCK HOUSE

Rock House is actually the only true cave in the park.

The spacious house is about 200 feet long and 20 to 30 feet wide.
