Red Butte Garden

Red Butte Garden is the state arboretum and is part of the University of Utah.

If offers themed gardens and over five miles of hiking trails across more than 21 acres.

We love day hikes and botanical gardens. Red Butte Garden perfectly combines the two.

We could not contain our grins as we walked along peaceful paths and towering snowy peaks in the background.

With flowers emerging from the melting snow, this slice of heaven is worth visiting regardless of the season.

For those who want a longer hike, the garden is adjacent to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, providing closer views of the mountains.
